week 9 writing assignment
The issue of downloading of things for no charge or the burning of things is a topic that is both controversial and hard to figure out, because of the various scenarios and outcomes that come about. I feel that downloading a song for intentions on buying the album is fine. I also feel if an artist approves of the downloading of his or her song for reasons like promoting is also acceptable. As for as reasons not to download I feel that if someone likes a song but doesn’t have the money to buy the album that is something that should be acknowledge. Reasons like just stealing, being lazy, or having no conscious about downloading media that people depend on to make money is unacceptable. I feel each case is different and it is up to us as humans to police ourselves, incorporating morals and ethics when we go about making decisions.

week 7 writing assignment digital versus analog
Well analog is an older compatibility that often creates and often has problems with noise when things are trying to be downloaded or recorded. Digital waves are signals that come from satellites in bit form, and usually when the bits are in order then sound are pictures flow all at once and record nicely. This is the same thing that can be said with the digital HD TV’s that people have. Often not only are the pictures cleaner and sharper, but there are often no signal failures. The digital age has really helped the world advance in today’s age.

week 6 writing assignment
Well the way things are smuggled into these countries is kind of by mutual agreement. Since the U.S. is reach yet stingy in the same way, they ship these e-waste recyclables to other countries who are poor and in need of these valuables like; Computers, cell phones, calculators, and TV’s which they dissect and use to get value. So basically the taxes are high in the U.S. to recycle so they send it to other countries in need of the valuables. Another issue is how these things are smuggled into these other countries. The U.S. is very clever in there means of transportation of these “goods”. They will often send them with “legitimate goods”, because there where U.S. laws made in 2000 to slow exports of e-waste junk to china for these environmentally unhealthy recycling deities.
One way for us as U.S. citizens to slow these exporting fiascos is to buy things that are environmentally safe, or things that are made of natural or biodegradable resources. Another is to use electronics to the fullest. If there is something that is old or you don’t use anymore why not try selling or donating it. This will go along way in helping these electronics stay in the U.S. as long as they can
